Sarah Lebovitz Suria, PhD, ABSNP
Biography
Sarah Lebovitz Suria, PhD received her doctorate in school psychology from Fordham University. She is currently a licensed psychologist practicing in Pennsylvania. Her love of psychology began when she became involved in autism research during her undergraduate years at Columbia University. This interest propelled her to receive a masters in psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. During her doctoral training at Fordham, Sarah had the opportunity to be placed in a wide range of school settings. Sarah has experience working with children and adolescents ranging from preschool to college age with different learning profiles. She completed her internship at The Buckley School on the Upper East Side of New York City. At that time, she was involved in admission’s testing, designing social-emotional curriculum, counseling and consulting with parents. Sarah’s postdoctoral experience took place performing neuropsychological testing and consulting with families in a private practice in NY. She continues to enjoy working and collaborating with families and individuals. Sarah likes to help her clients achieve their goals, process their feelings and create effective toolboxes of strategies to help them feel empowered to manage stressful situations in school and their personal lives.
