My drive for treatment begins by connecting with you, followed by a collaborative alignment that explores the barriers that keep you from reaching your goals. It is a privilege to be granted access to one’s personal life, a gift that I care for with a great sense of empathy. If you are here, perhaps you may be ready to take a step further and reach out for help.

Although psychodynamically trained and CBT certified, I draw from a number of different therapeutic intervention styles that best fit each client. I am successful in treating adults with a wide range of problems, specializing in depression, anxiety, all spheres of relationship problems, boundary setting and assertiveness training.

Begin the process of self-exploration in a safe, supportive, non-judgmental and confidential way to gain insight towards personal growth. I want to help you increase the quality of your life, in ways that lead to more fulfillment, meaning, and understanding.

From the outset of treatment, my goal is to build a trusting relationship with clients where I strive to see the world through my clients’ eyes, both identifying strengths and discovering more about each client’s ideal world, then finding steps to move in that direction. I have experience working with people who have many different reasons for entering into counseling, including the following: anxiety, sadness or depression, anger, mood swings, difficulty focusing, grief and loss, difficulty sleeping, low self-esteem, and much more.

I have extensive training in working with couples and I also work with individuals who are looking for relationship-focused counseling. Through examining both the relationship on a whole and how each partner is contributing to what is occurring during communication or conflict, clients will see that small changes can lead to movement toward the relationship each client desires. This type of work also applies to any relationship: parent/child, siblings, coworkers, friends – the possibilities are endless!

I aim for each of my clients to leave every session with a new awareness, connection, understanding, or skill. Come and begin your journey to making your best even better!

In over 10 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have developed an interest in working with issues related to anxiety, depression, grief, somatic symptomology, and acute/complex trauma.  I work with a variety of therapeutic approaches including Attachment Theory, Psychoanalytic Theory, and body-focused therapies such as EMDR and Mindfulness. These approaches help explore ways that early experiences affect the way we view ourselves and the world.

I appreciate the unique set of life experiences that each client brings, and honor this by avoiding preconceived notions about them and their concerns. I seek to create a safe and confidential space through the practice of empathic listening and non-judgmental acceptance where clients can sort through confusing thoughts and emotions.  This process leads to greater self-awareness and the confidence to engage more fully in the world.

“Life is a journey to be experienced, not a problem to be solved”, said by Winnie the Pooh. Therapy is a journey, and everyone’s path will be different.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who enjoys working with children, teenagers, and adults. I received both of my master’s degrees at University of Pennsylvania in 2016 and 2017. I specialize in anxiety, depression, mood disorders, anger management, PTSD, and helping individuals to navigate various obstacles in life. I strive to develop an integrative and holistic strategy to individualize client’s needs with several different approaches to help them reach their goals.
