I also offer individual therapy for symptoms of depression, anxiety, and issues related to sexuality/sexually problematic behavior. Family therapy services include reunification for families affected by divorce and/or custody litigation.
I also serve as the administrator of a diagnostic assessment clinic which provides testing for ADHD, mood disorders, sexual risk assessments/psychosexual evaluations and an array of other mental health disorders.

Although psychodynamically trained and CBT certified, I draw from a number of different therapeutic intervention styles that best fit each client. I have experience working with people who have many different reasons for entering into counseling, including the following: anxiety, sadness or depression, anger, mood swings, difficulty focusing, grief and loss, difficulty sleeping, low self-esteem, and much more.
I have extensive training in working with couples and I also work with individuals who are looking for relationship-focused counseling. Through examining both the relationship on a whole and how each partner is contributing to what is occurring during communication or conflict, clients will see that small changes can lead to movement toward the relationship each client desires. This type of work also applies to any relationship: parent/child, siblings, coworkers, friends – the possibilities are endless!

Having worked extensively with individuals and families over the last 10 years, I specialize in relationships; whether it is with a partner, a family member, a friend, or yourself. My work is client-centered and combines cognitive, behavioral, and family systems approaches to meet your specific needs. I work with children, adults and families, and have specific training in eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), attachment therapy, and play therapy. I have experience working with child custody issues, as well as in foster care and adoption. I have also worked with woman struggling with postpartum anxiety, depression and/or psychosis, and with families who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss. As an EMDR clinician, I also have extensive experience working with survivors of trauma and those who have been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder.
Many of my clients come seeking help with issues such as depression, anxiety, parenting challenges, grief/loss, and family issues.
